Legionnaires Dance Band

The Sussex Band of the Royal British Legion (Horsham) can trace its history back to 1861 making it one of the oldest organisations in Horsham and probably one of the oldest amateur bands in the country. In 2000, a number of musicians from the concert band formed the Legionnaires Dance Band to further promote the charitable work of the RBL to a wider audience through public dances, private functions and other social events. Their programme will provide a wide range of social and dance band music to suit modern and traditional dancers or easy listening for a Sunday afternoon. The Legionnaires will also be performing at a public dance on 21st October at Horsham Drill Hall in support of Horsham Rotary Club and the Springboard Project.
